The uniforms we wear are white, which stands for purity--or better put, the purity we seek through our diligent training. We place two patches on these uniforms; the one over the left chest is the school patch (Kim Soo Karate) and the one on the right is the system patch (Chayon-ryu). The system patch has not always looked like it does today, as it evolved over a period of years while Grandmaster Kim Soo deciphered the meaning of the symbols that were shown to him in a dream many years ago. The patch is now complete, and below each symbol and character is defined.
